| How do you see the role of Public Sector Undertaking in such Exhibitions. |
As a PSU it is important for us to share technology between the government sectors as it gives wider range of possibility of networking. As being from the government sector we share same problems, have same goals and needs. |
| In the growing role of international players how do you see the Indian Govt’s Offset Policy |
It is essential as offset makes Defence Industry self reliant, and involves private players in technology advancement and knowledge sharing. This will create a better opportunity to network and involve private players in making Developing countries like India and Brazil self reliant in defence production. |
| How do you see Def Expo as a platform for International companies |
As we are participating for the first time it is quite interesting to showcase our products on such a platform. It is an excellent opportunity to network and build link between suppliers and buyers. We look at Def Expo as a opportunity to fasten our ties with the Indian Navy and start a relationship which would help both countries to grow. |
| Road Map for the company from here… |
As Brazilian Navy we are very close to start operational and strategic exercise with the Indian Navy at Sea, this would be our first step to link two countries which would be profitable to both the Navies. To strengthen the ties between two nations Brazilian Ministry of Defence very soon plans to assign Defence Attaché to India. We consider India as a strategic Partner for defence cooperation and growth both in combat and Defence production. |
