 LOCKHEED MARTIN LOOKS TO EXPAND INDIA PRESENCE EMPHASISES PORTFOLIO DIVERSIFICATION

New Delhi, February 15, 2008—Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] is set to expand its presence in India in 2008 with the opening of its India subsidiary and appointment of Ambassador Douglas A. Hartwick as Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin India Pvt. Ltd.

NEW DELHI, India and FORT WORTH, Texas (February 18, 2008) – Orville Prins, vice president, Business Development – India for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, said today that Lockheed Martin’s advanced technology F-16IN and the C-130J Super Hercules are the right choices to meet or exceed India’s defense requirements.  Prins was speaking at the DefExpo trade show today in New Delhi.
 Sikorsky Aircraft and Tata Advanced Systems Sign MOU for S-92® Helicopter Cabin Production in India

New Delhi, February 15, 2008: Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for teaming up with Tata Advanced Systems to manufacture S-92® helicopter cabins in India.  Sikorsky is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). Tata Advanced Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Industries focused on providing integrated solutions for Defence and Aerospace.
