DefenceIndia has a multi-competent expertise in conducting
nationwide online and offline research projects. Detailed
scientific analytical tools are used to bring out the nuances.
Our past work includes:
- A nation-wide survey on “Conscription”, wherein
citizens across the country were asked if they would prefer
compulsory enrollment in the armed forces, met with widespread
positive encouragement; It was well-received by the press.
- A nationwide survey on, “Do Ex-servicemen make better
managers” was recently wound up and qualified HR personnel,
serving and ex-servicemen, corporate chieftains were consulted
and compiled.
Both these initiatives were well received by the Industry
and the press.

Now, we have planned another study, on ‘Culture
in the Indian Army’.
This shall be a qualitative research and would touch upon
the aspects of management, leadership, team building, motivations,
gender/religion aspects, performance – awards/recognition,
innovations, In War and In peace, Cultural tools while in
conflict and also on career progressions.
It shall be an attempt to study and compile issues, problems
and solutions.
Briefly,
- The study shall be spread over 6 Months.
- It shall cover the major frontline deputations.
- It shall have personal interactions with ALL senior officers.
- It shall compile responses from rank and file across
the major areas of deputations.
