The sixth international
aerospace and defence exhibition in February,
2007, will showcase US aviation and aerospace
in its full glory, in a way never seen before
on Indian soil.
Giving it stiff
competition will be the French industry, whose
aeronautical companies are also descending on
Bangalore in large numbers. The 6th Aero
India 2007 is expecting much larger participation
compared with Aero India 2005. We are fully prepared
to take up the challenge and make the show a grand
success, defence ministry officials said.
Aviation and aerospace
industry leaders in the world including the Boeing,
EADS, Lockheed Martin, Rosoboron- export and Dassault
have confirmed their participation for the exhibition.
In addition, a large
cross-section of industries involved in making
vital components for aircraft engines, avionics,
systems, sub-systems and airfield radars will
display their latest technology and products.
Aero India
2007 is being organised by the department
of defence production, ministry of defence, in
association with FICCI and Farnborough International
Ltd at Airforce Station Yelahanka, Bangalore,
on February 7-11.The event is expected to bring
new opportunities for the aviation and aerospace
industry.
