Dynamatic Aerospace, a division of Dynamatic Technologies Limited, handed over the first set of Canards for the SU 30 MKI fighter-bomber to K P Puri, managing director (MIG Complex), in the presence of Ashok Baweja, chairman, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) here.

The Sukhoi-30 MKI programme is the largest defence project to be undertaken in India. It is being implemented by HAL, India’s leading aerospace company.

HAL has now embarked on an ambitious plan to involve private industry in producing major modules for it. Baweja said, “It’s a moment of great pride to see our vision of evolving public-private partnerships take concrete shape.”
